Turning the Corner
Starting this project didn’t feel like launching a website.
It felt like waking up in the middle of a jungle.
I had a vision—something I believed God was calling me to build—but no clear path to get there. Just scattered ideas, questions, and a growing sense that something important was buried in all of it. Something worth finding.
Lately, I think I’ve finally turned the corner. I’m standing on a kind of plateau now—able to see a bit more clearly where this is going, and how to help others walk it with me.
So if you’ve visited this site before and felt a little lost, I get it. I did too.
I’ve simplified things.
Now when you land on the homepage, you’ll see everything laid out plainly. The core of the journey—what I call the expedition—runs down the left-hand side. That’s where the heart of DiscipleLife lives: a systematic walk through the biblical worldview, step by step, essay by essay.
You’ll also find Field Notes like this one, on the Field Notes page. These are my blog-style reflections—less structured than the essays, but often just as vital. They explore questions, behind-the-scenes thinking, or side trails that didn’t quite fit in the expedition, but still matter.
My hope is that this layout makes it easier to read, easier to navigate, and most of all—easier to walk with.
Thanks for joining me on the trail.
