Definition:

God is the eternal, uncreated Creator of all things—holy, just, loving, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. He is the source of all truth, the author of life, and the One to whom all creation is accountable. God exists as Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Biblical Basis:

Genesis 1:1 — “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

Exodus 3:14 — “God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’”

Isaiah 45:5 — “I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God.”

Romans 11:36 — “For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever.”

Theological Significance:

Everything begins with God. He is not a projection of human thought or a distant force—He is the personal, sovereign Lord of all reality. Understanding who God is shapes how we understand ourselves, the world, and our purpose. God is not just the starting point of theology—He is its center. He is the one we are called to know, love, and obey.

How We Use It in DiscipleLife:

This entire journey exists because God exists. Every question we ask, every truth we uncover, is about Him or flows from Him. The purpose of this Expedition isn’t self-improvement—it’s to know God more deeply and walk with Him more closely. We are made by Him, for Him, and being restored to Him.
