Created

Definition:
To be created means to be intentionally brought into existence by the will of God. Biblical creation is not random, accidental, or chaotic—it reflects God’s purpose, design, and authority. Everything that exists was created by Him and for Him.

Biblical Basis:

  • Genesis 1:1 — “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
  • John 1:3 — “All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
  • Colossians 1:16 — “For by him all things were created… all things were created through him and for him.”

Theological Significance:
Creation establishes God’s authority over all things. It means that everything—from galaxies to human souls—has meaning, value, and responsibility under the Creator’s rule. It also means we are not self-originating beings; our life, identity, and purpose are gifts.

How We Use It in DiscipleLife:
The word “created” is used deliberately to remind us that we are not accidents. Our existence is part of God’s sovereign design. Every discussion about discipleship, identity, morality, or salvation is built on this truth: we were created by God, on purpose.
