Definition:

Fine tuning refers to the precise calibration of the universe’s physical constants and initial conditions that make life possible. Even the slightest variation in gravity, electromagnetism, or the cosmological constant would render life impossible—suggesting intentional design.

Biblical Basis:

Isaiah 45:18 — “For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens… he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited!”

Psalm 19:1 — “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”

Romans 1:20 — “For his invisible attributes… have been clearly perceived… in the things that have been made.”

Theological Significance:

Fine tuning challenges the idea that the universe is a random accident. Instead, it points to a Designer who not only created everything but crafted it with precision to support life.
